The Ford Mustang has become a cultural icon over the decades, being a best-seller year after year. Now, Ford is bringing a new member to the Mustang family. Releasing in late 2020, the all-new, all-electric Mustang Mach-E SUV is sure to be an immediate classic.
The first thing you notice on the Mach-E is its sleek, futuristic curves that harken to the vintage American style of the Mustang. But underneath the hood, the Mach-E is definitely modern. It will come with two battery options: a standard and extended-range battery, the latter getting up to 300 miles on one charge. Efficiency didn’t take away from power, though, as it can produce 332 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque.
The innovative navigation will route you to any of the 12,500 public charging stations.
Two special editions are on the docket for customers. The GT edition will have a 0-60-mph acceleration under 4 seconds, which is faster than the Porsche Macan Turbo. The enhanced GT Performance Edition will be within the mid-3-second range, comparable to a Porsche 911 GTS. The output of these beauties will be around 459 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque.
Reservations for the new Mustang Mach-E are now open, and you can contact Pegues Hurst Ford to claim one of the first.
